     Klára, daughter of Andor Isépy and Stefania Balsay, was born in Alsóberecki, Zemplén, Hungary, on 25 October 1906. Her father describes her as having long legs. Also says that they were hoping for a boy as he already had three girls.1,2 Her baptism name was Klara Zsuzsanna Maria Isépy. Klára Isépy was the daughter of Andor Isépy and Stefania Balsay. Klára Isépy was educated between 1920 and 1924 in Székesfehérvár, Fejér, Hungary. Klara and her sisters were enrolled in school. Her father states that he wanted her to finish school before marrying but her fiancee Karoly Berecz was too eager to wait. Since Klara did not like her step-mother, it is equally likely that it was Klara who did not want to wait.2
Károly Berecz and Klara Isépy met in Erdös while she was vacationing and he was conducting business relating to mining. Szépes is famous for silver, iron and copper. She married Károly Berecz, son of Károly Berecz and Ella Heindl, in Sátoraljaújhely, Zemplén, Hungary, on 26 March 1924. Present were Istvan Berecz, Munci and Sari Berecz, Andor Isepy, her father, and her sisters, and Tihamer Isepy. Witnesses: Istvan Berecz and Tihamer Isepy. Went to Budapest for one week honeymoon..2 Her married name was Klára Berecz (Isépy). Klára Isépy and Károly Berecz had 4 children between 1925 and 1931. All of the children were born in Pécs, Baranya, Hungary. Klára Isépy appeared in the family photo in Károly Berecz's household of 1926 in Pécs, Baranya, Hungary. Klára and Gyorgyi appeared in the family photo in Károly Berecz's household of 1930 in Pécs, Baranya, Hungary.
Clara was a talented needleworker and made lovely cross-stitched place settings and table coverings. She had a calm temperment and great perserverance. During the Communist period in Hungary, she and her husband, formerly very wealthy, lived in the garden shack in their former orchard and she sold their peaches to the local hotels going door to door with her basket. They also raised three of their grandchildren, aged 7, 5 and 4, for 10 years after their daughter, Jutka, fled to Austria in 1957 and was forced to leave her children behind. Klára died on 7 April 2003 in Pécs, Baranya, Hungary at age 96.3

Jancsi Szieberth

     Jancsi, son of János Szieberth and Julianna Sziebert, was born in Németboly, Baranya, Hungary, on 16 January 1907. Jancsi Szieberth was the son of János Szieberth and Julianna Sziebert. Circa 1930, Jancsi Szieberth married Elsa (?).
Jancsi was tall, blond, with the real Sziebert blue eyes and wide smile. Jancsi became a doctor and lived in Fonyod by the Lake Balaton. After World War II Jancsi lived in Germany with his second wife. Elsa, his first wife returned to Pecs where she raised their three children. No one knows how Elsa was able to raise the children because she was penniless. Eventually, the oldest son, Gunther, moved to Germany where he lived with an older, rich woman. The daughter Mufi worked for Radio Free Europe, the youngest son, Hanzi lived in Pecs with his family.1

Julie's other son, Steven (or Pista) was known as the one most resembling Grandpa Stephy. He became a farmer, inheriting Kozar. This farm was near Pecs and had excellent fertile soil. The house was built by Mayor Aidinger. It was a big, stylish building surrounded by tall, old trees. After 1945 the farm and the house was taken from them by the Russians. As if that was not enough, Pista was imprisoned for years on trumped-up charges. Clare and the children ended up living with her parents in a two-bedroom apartment. They had wall-to-wall beds! But all Pista's children grew up getting a good education.2 Steven (István) Szieberth died on 30 May 1992 in Pécs, Baranya, Hungary at age 82.3
