János Isépy

     János Isépy was born circa 1685 in Magyar-Izsép, Zemplén, Hungary. He was the son of György Isépy and Mária Petroczy. János Isépy was an heir in the will of György Isépy in 1713 in Magyar-Izsép, Zemplén, Hungary. The division of property left by György Isépy at Magyar-Izsép was accomplished on June 19, 1713 between János Isépy, Borbála Isépy (wife of László Vékey), further István Ormos of Csicser, as guardian of the infant Ferenc, son of the former Zsófia Isépy, as well as, the guardian of Mária Isépy, infant daughter of Mária Petróczy (now married to János Villám) and her now deceased first husband.1 Before 1718 Zemplén, Hungary, János Isépy married Erzsébet Lencsés. According to data available, his inheritors, on April 20th of that year, divided into three equal parts the meadow lands on the border of Magyar-izsép and Sóskut. This was witnessed by András Isaák and Ferenc Kozma. No record remains of the division of the rest of the property.1 In the beginning of 1749 János Isépy died.

The property in question was located too far away for the Isépys to be able to cultivate or use it properly for any other purpose.3
